There are actually many X Parks around Malaysia – Negeri Sembilan, Port Dickson, Ipoh, Sunway Lagoon, South Quay, Kelana Jaya. But did you know there’s one opened at Sunway Iskandar, just 15 min drive up from Tuas Second Link?
Here, it is 32 acres of action-packed fun. There are many activities available – go-kart, mountain biking, motocross, rock climbing, archery, paintball and more!
For our little Beans, this is our favourite spot for go-karting and high obstacle course. There is also a big shelter over these two activities so it’s weather proof for easy planning.
Main Highlights
Go-Kart: Variety of go-kart cars, with rates for a 10-minute karting experience ranging from RM40 to RM60. Age and height restrictions apply – see below!
High Obstacles: Several tiers of height obstacles, but the “kids” version takes the little ones 30-45 min to clear, while the parents watch from below
Glamping: While the definition of glamping is luxury camping, this option errs more on the basic side. 2 single beds, air conditioning, private bathroom with television and power… but really, what glamping offers is the proximity to the many activities available at the park!
Other Activities: X Park offers many other activities too – including mountain biking, motocross, rock climbing, archery, paintball and more! There are several combo (4 in 1) packages so look out for those if you are intending to spend a day at the park!
Go-kart restrictions:
Little Beans need to be > 6 years old and 140cm to drive kiddie kart (but they were relaxed about these restrictions when we visited and our two older ones were allowed to drive when they were around 130cm) – it seemed like the key consideration was whether the kids were confident and tall enough to reach the pedal.
For those who were shorter (like our smallest Bean), we could opt for the double seater go-kart. Here, the parent steers the vehicle and the passenger needs to be > 100cm in height

Short 15 min drive up from Tuas Second Link, take the first exit (keep left when you see Shell petrol station on the opposite side) and turn right after – input X Park into Google Maps for quick directions!

Turn up, queue up, book and wait! There is a “Book Now” option on their website but it never worked (still doesn’t work, at time of checking)
Our first visit was right after covid restrictions lifted and there was no one around. The staff were in fact quite happy to see us as they were probably suffering from immense boredom. These days, waits were typically 20-45 min. During long weekends, do avoid – we made the mistake once of trying our luck and it was a 4-5 hour wait (we gave up eventually)
