To get to Seng Chew Quarry, simply trace this large drain up the grass slope behind Block 383 Bukit Batok West Avenue 5.

If you find the drain/steep slope too challenging to climb, you may ascend from the right where the slope is much gentler! Then make your way back to the drain at the top!

Do wear proper sport/hiking shoes! Bring water, sunblock and insect repellent too!

This trail comes with a little obstacle course which makes it fun!

Scale with care!

Continue climbing till you reach the top

👉 To get to Seng Chew Quarry directly, continue to follow the drain into the forest (skip to Picture 20).

👉 To get a bird's-eye view of the quarry (we did this first), cross over to the left side of the drain when u reach this intersection!

Then head diagonally towards the forest!

Look for an opening and a man-made trail into the forest!

Beware of the inconspicuous drain where you enter the forest!

Follow the man-made trail into the forest

More upslope (approx 50m)

The trail will split at the top. The left path leads to a small organic farm. Take the right route to get a bird's-eye view of the quarry!

You will find various types of vegetables and fruit trees in the farm!

Banana trees are abundant here!

Look Ma... chili padi! 🌶

Viewing point

Bird's-eye view of Seng Chew Quarry. Definitely worth the climb!

To get to Seng Chew Quarry, backtrack and exit the forest. Turn left upon exit till you are back at the large drain!

You will pass a fallen tree along the way...

There are monkeys around. Be careful if you have food on you!

Approx. 50m into the forest, you will reach a green fence and beyond the fence is the quarry! You can get closer to the water via an opening to the left of the fence.
