2️⃣ KEPPEL HILL RESERIOR
- ▫️An abandoned reservoir near Mt Faber built during colonial period of SG
- ▫️Formerly a source of water (fell into disuse due to small capacity) b4 being used as swimming pool 🏊♂️
- ▫️Eventually got forgotten
- ▫️Rediscovered in 2014
How to get there?
- ▫️Facing entrance of bunker, you'll find a steep slope with a rope on the left
- ▫️Scale slope with care!
- ▫️Follow path. Once out of forest, continue down tarmac road
- ▫️Take left path at split road (right path leads to gate of No.11 Keppel Hill)
- ▫️Cross a muddy patch & follow trail leading to reservoir!

👕: Comfortable clothes & shoes with gd grip!

▫️Be prepared to get dirty & muddy! Gd to bring extra footwear & spare clothes
▫️Water, insect repellent, cap, sunblock, wet wipes, torch & used bags to keep dirty items after

- The abandoned Keppel Hill Reservoir was built during the colonial period.
- It is about one-third the size of an Olympic-sized swimming pool and about 2m deep.
- It was subsequently used as a swimming pool. Remnants of a diving board and a flight of steps still remain.
- It was eventually forgotten and only rediscovered in 2014.
