We got the Frog Quest Explorer Kit for the little ones

Equipped with their frog quest maps and novelty frog pens, our little explorers are now ready for their frog quest!

Before setting off, we were shown an educational video on bullfrogs.

Time to don gumboots and catch some frogs!

Arriving at the frog pens. Our explorer kit includes frog catching. On its own, the Catch-a-frog activity is @ $10/pax.

Learning the proper way to handle a frog before getting started

Time to catch some frogs!

💦 Splish splash! Little one was drenched in no time. Bring spare clothes!

Tadpole catching (subject to availability). Nets and gumboots provided.

Next, we moved on to frog feeding. Each explorer kit comes with a container of frog feed. It can also be purchased from the shop @ $2/container.

Morning is the best feeding time as breakfast is their favourite meal!

To complete the frog quest, we had to uncover vital clues from the educational poster at each station to fill up the frog quest map.

💮 Remember to collect the station stamp. If the stamp is not available at the station, you can redeem with the correct answers from The Royal Frog Shop.

There is also a life cycle exhibit on display at the farm.

We learnt that female American Bullfrogs can lay as many as 10,000 to 30,000 eggs!

We also got to observe tadpoles up-close.

The kids were fascinated to see some tadpoles with legs!
💡 Most bullfrog tadpoles live two to three years before metamorphosing into adult frogs, sprouting legs after about a year.

💡 We also learnt that tadpoles breathe through gills, while frogs breathe through skin & lungs!

At the back of the farm are the deep water ponds.

Here, the farm grows various fish such as the tilapia, snakehead and catfish!

There are wash basins near the entrance (opposite the shop) with ample soap for handwashing.

Once we were done with the Frog Quest, we headed back to the shop to get a spin and redeem our mystery gift!

At the shop, you can satisfy your adventurous taste buds and order from their Farm Fresh Menu that offers an assortment of exotic delicacies.🐸🐢

Their deep fried cajun frog meat is a must try!

The crocodile nuggets are chewy and delicious too!

The shop also offers frozen meat (frogs, crocodile, fish, venison) & desserts!
Enjoy farm rates and a “3R Rebate” when you bring your own cooler box, with min. $50 fresh produce purchased!

You can also grab some frog novelties/ souvenirs before you go.

We had fun and learnt so much about frogs!
